Services our pulmonologists and respiratory therapists offer include:
Breathing tests. We conduct a wide range of diagnostic testing services, including basic spirometry and full pulmonary function tests. These tests can help diagnose conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Your test results are interpreted by our experienced pulmonologists.
Medications. In addition to prescribing the right medicine, our team will teach you what you need to know to use your medications and manage your lung disease.
Pulmonary rehabilitation. Pulmonary rehab combines exercise and education to help people breathe better and manage a lung disease, such as COPD.
Our pulmonary rehab team will create a safe exercise plan just for you. The exercise and the breathing techniques you will learn help you make the most of your limited lung function. As a result, you may be able to walk farther and perform daily living tasks with less shortness of breath.
Respiratory therapy. This involves using exercises to improve breathing and daily function.
Special procedures. These include bronchoscopy, which uses a small camera to check for cancer or other lung problems, and thoracentesis, a procedure to find and remove fluid in the lungs.
Surgery referrals. When lung surgery is needed, we can connect you with the right expert.
