Physical Therapy

Helping You Regain Strength, Movement and Flexibility

Physical therapy (PT) is useful for a wide range of medical situations. Your healthcare provider is likely to recommend PT if you’ve been injured, had recent surgery, are recovering from a serious medical event, have a disability or suffer from chronic pain.

Physical therapists are highly trained, licensed professionals who evaluate and treat problems with your body’s physical function. Their primary treatment tools are specialized exercises designed to strengthen select muscles and improve flexibility and function. In addition, they may use exercise equipment, manual therapy, the application of ice and heat, and electrical stimulation of injured muscles.

At Olympic Medical Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, your therapist will design a program customized for your medical condition and personal needs. For more information, please call our Port Angeles office at (360) 417-7728 or our Sequim office at (360) 582-2601.
