About patients
I enjoy meeting people where they are, listening to their stories, and learning about their backgrounds. I find it deeply fulfilling to come alongside patients and support them in achieving their health goals.
How can you serve your patients?
I am especially motivated by the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and to address health disparities that often affect rural populations.
What can patients expect from an appointment?
Patients can expect a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free environment where they feel heard and valued. I listen carefully to their concerns, understand their unique circumstances, and involve them in every step of their care. My goal is to build trust and work collaboratively with each patient to develop personalized, evidence-based plans that support their health goals. I strive to ensure every appointment is not only informative but also empowering.
What drew you to the Olympic Peninsula?
I am very passionate about rural healthcare due to previously living in a remote area in Alaska. I honestly do not see myself anywhere else. I consider the Olympic Peninsula home.
How do you spend your free time?
I enjoy exercising, hiking, baking, reading good books, and gardening. I love canning what I grow in my garden. It’s something that connects me to nature, helps me relax, and ties into my interest in wellness and nutrition.
About family medicine
Women’s health impacts overall community health. When we support and empower women—through education, preventative care, and access to services—we often see positive ripple effects on families and entire communities. I love not only addressing physical health concerns, but also supporting women through all stages of life, from adolescence to menopause and beyond.
What led you to choose family medicine?
My passion for rural healthcare comes from seeing the unique challenges rural communities face — from limited access to providers to higher rates of chronic illness. I want to be part of the solution by providing compassionate, comprehensive care where it’s needed most. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I meet people where they are, understand their stories, and walk with them on their healthcare journey.
