About me and my practice

On Patients
I believe that in oncology our ability to take care of a patient depends on how well we understand them. This means not only knowing their disease and treatment options, but also what is important to them and what their goals of care are so we can make decisions as a team.

On Radiation Oncology
Oncology is a challenging and rewarding specialty where we are always trying to improve patient experiences and outcomes. It is evidence-based and ever-changing. Each patient is unique and highly-targeted treatment plans allow us to account for these differences.

About Me
My favorite part of being an oncologist is the wonderful patients and families that I meet. It is a privilege to learn their stories and be part of their care team. I chose to practice here because there is no place like the Olympic Peninsula. I love the community, and coming home to practice here is what I have always wanted.

Personal Information
I spend my time outside OMC with my husband, two young children, and many friends and family in the area. We love to be outdoors, especially at the lake, river and ocean. My hobbies include reading, arts and crafts and exploring the peninsula.

Special Practice Interests
Intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and surface guided radiation therapy (SGRT)
