What's most rewarding about working with patients?

I enjoy guiding patients through difficult times and helping them achieve their wellness goals.

What's most interesting about primary care?

I love developing long-term relationships with my patients, allowing me to provide holistic care. Many people don’t realize how much primary care involves preventive medicine, like catching small issues early to avoid bigger problems down the road. It’s one of the most powerful ways to make a lasting impact on patients’ health.

What led you to choose your area of focus?

Growing up in rural Nebraska, I always knew that I wanted to practice medicine in a small community. I enjoy the wide variety of conditions that I get to diagnose and treat in primary care.

What can patients expect from an appointment?

My patients can expect to feel heard, not rushed. I work with each patient at their level to ensure that they receive an accurate diagnosis so we can work together to develop a treatment plan that works for their life and health goals.

How can you serve OMC and its patients?

Growing up in a rural community and seeking out clinical experience in underserved communities during my training has instilled in me the resourcefulness needed to navigate the barriers to healthcare access.

What drew you the Olympic Peninsula?

I have always had a strong desire to live somewhere where I could deepen my connection with nature. A trip to the Olympic Peninsula sparked my interest, and meeting friendly faces at OMC sealed my decision to call this place home.

How do you enjoy spending your free time?

I love gardening, cooking, traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with my husband and our dog, Annie.

A fact your patients might be surprised to learn

I have been to Scotland six times (and counting)! We visit my husband's family there frequently, and my dream is to retire in the Highlands!
