About me and my practice
What do you find most rewarding about working with patients? Health issues can be scary, frustrating, painful and they can interrupt your life. I find gratification in helping patients improve or resolve these issues so they can return to a life they love.
What can patients expect from an appointment with you? They can expect a conversation about their health concerns where we collaboratively discuss possible solutions and steps moving forward.
What drew you to OMC and the Olympic Peninsula? I knew that when I worked in primary care I wanted to work in a smaller community. I wanted to be a part of that community and add to it in a positive way. Hiking, backpacking and camping have always been a big part of my life but I had lost that through busy times in the past few years. I wanted to live in a place that could offer these things close by. The Olympic Peninsula has the small community I desired with more outdoor activities than I could imagine. It was a perfect fit.
What do you find most interesting about primary care? Every day and every patient’s health conditions present a unique challenge. I enjoy being a part of the team to help solve this challenge.
What led you to your career? I wanted to work in Primary Care to help people with all aspects of their health.
How do you spend your free time? I enjoy hiking, camping and golfing with my wife and our dog.
What is a fact your patients might be surprised to learn about you? I have been a golfer since about 9 years old and have been obsessed with it ever since.
Conditions Treated Primary care encompasses a wide variety of conditions across all body systems. This includes hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, preventative medicine and many other chronic diseases.
