30 Mar Tim Frymyer Receives OMC Leadership Award
As Respiratory Therapy Manager, Tim Frymyer fosters teamwork, trust and excellent respiratory therapy care at OMC.
Respiratory Therapy Manager Tim Frymyer, RT, received the OMC Leadership Award for March at a recent department management meeting.
Darryl Wolfe, chief executive officer, presented the award and Scott Kennedy, MD, chief medical officer shared comments from OMC personnel describing Frymyer as an excellent manager and co-worker: “Tim is someone you want working with you when things are challenging in the middle of the night.”
Equally notable, said Kennedy, is Frymyer’s promotion of evidence-based practices that ensure his respiratory staff have the tools and resources to prevent COVID-19 infections in the hospital.
Kennedy also quoted others, saying Frymyer “fosters teamwork and trust in the department and between departments,” and “even in the most difficult of circumstances, Tim has done a phenomenal job of keeping his department going during this pandemic and providing excellent respiratory therapy care at OMC.”
Pulmonologist Mark Fischer, MD, added, “Tim Frymyer is a terrific respiratory therapist and integral OMC healthcare team member. We are lucky to have his leadership, endurance, and respiratory knowledge at OMC.”
Frymyer has been with OMC since January 2013.
