Sponsored by Port Angeles-based Koenig Subaru and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), this event brings hope, comfort and encouragement to those fighting cancer in our community.
The Subaru Loves to Care event kicked off at OMCC earlier this month and will run into mid-August. We are grateful to Subaru for their generous donation of plush pillows, which will provide much-needed comfort and support to our patients during their treatment journeys. These pillows serve as a reminder that they are not alone in their fight and that our community stands with them every step of the way.
In addition to the pillows, OMCC has created special hearts where patients, family members and staff can write messages of hope and encouragement. These heartfelt messages are a powerful symbol of solidarity and offer a source of inspiration. The words written on these hearts hold the power to uplift spirits and bring comfort to the patients who need it most.
At OMCC, we believe that together, we can create a community of care and support for those facing cancer.
Join us in spreading love, encouragement, and compassion. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of those in our community affected by cancer.
