Ryan Dunning, PA-C, expands orthopedic care to patients of the Olympic Medical Physicians Orthopedic Clinics.

Olympic Medical Center welcomes Ryan Dunning, certified physician assistant, to the orthopedic team. Dunning joins Olympic Medical Physicians after completing his training at Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Penn. He will see patients at the OMP Orthopaedic Clinics in Port Angeles and Sequim.

“Leading an active lifestyle has taught me to appreciate the capabilities as well as restrictions of the human body,” said Dunning. “Practicing orthopedics grants me a better understanding of these and allows me to share them with my patients.”

Dunning received his undergraduate degree from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before earning a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Lock Haven University. As an orthopedic specialist, Dunning understands the importance of helping patients participate in the activities they love. “I enjoy helping patients return to the activities and lifestyle they value,” said Dunning.

As a provider, Dunning hopes to work in collaboration with his patients to help them reach their individual goals. “I will ensure my patients understand their condition and our various treatment options, so that together we can decide what is best for them,” said Dunning.

Dunning will provide physician support to the orthopedic surgeons at OMP, as well as to the rest of the orthopedic team. He treats fractures, dislocations, joint problems and orthopedic emergencies.

Dunning sees patients at the OMP Orthopedic Clinics in Sequim and Port Angeles. For more information about orthopedics at OMC, visit olympicmedical.org/orthopaedics.
