On Patients: I really enjoy getting to know my patients. I strive to listen carefully to each patient’s unique story. Then working together; we can develop a treatment plan they can stick to, and that ultimately makes them feel better and more able to enjoy their favorite activities.
On Cardiology: Cardiology is the study of diseases of the heart. Heart disease is the no. I killer in the U.S. Today there are many effective diagnosis and treatment strategies for heart disease. This means that with good cardiac care, patients with heart disease can often do more of the things they want to do.
About Me: Taking charge of your health can be overwhelming, particularly when you don’t feel well. My strength lies in educating patients and their families regarding heart disease in the context of their physical, emotional and cultural needs.
Personal Information: My husband, son and I consider the Olympic Peninsula our home. My husband is a shipwright/ wooden boat builder and teaches boat building.
We can often be found cheering on our son while he plays soccer. We enjoy being outdoors, both on and off the water. My family and I love it here.
