On Patients
I collaborate with the patient to determine a treatment plan that aims to provide the best long-term solution to their problem.
On Orthopaedic Surgery I chose to subspecialize in joint replacement surgery because hip and knee replacement patients enjoy some of the best treatment outcomes in all of western medicine. Typically, there is a very clear relief from suffering after surgery, and this is a very rewarding aspect of the job.
About Me
I enjoy being able to make a positive change in my patients’ lives. Having grown up on Vancouver Island, I feel like moving to Port Angeles was like moving home. My family is close by, and I love the outdoor lifestyle here.
Personal Information
My former life was as an athlete. I participated in two Olympic Games and won a silver medal in the sport of rowing. I’ve become involved in crew in the community, and otherwise enjoy cycling, skiing, and occasionally picking up the guitar.
