About Me and My Practice
What can patients expect from an appointment with you?
A frank discussion about ALL the causes of the disease process and the role the patient plays in their own health, information about pros and cons of surgical intervention as well as a lot of information about their health issue.
What do you find most rewarding about working with patients?
Working with the patient to help THEM improve the quality of their lives. Immediately having patients feel better after a surgery.
How do you spend your free time?
Reading, baking, hiking, bicycling, traveling to other countries and ALWAYS coming back to the Peninsula.
What drew you to Olympic Medical Center and the Olympic Peninsula?
Dr. Sam Baker, retired orthopaedic surgeon, recruited me from Juneau. I was drawn by the natural beauty of where the mountains meet the ocean.
What is a fact your patients might be surprised to learn about you?
I grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico and I ALWAYS have New Mexico green chile in my freezer.
