On Patients: Patients should be evaluated as individuals, receive education for procedures they will be undergoing, have an opportunity to ask questions, and learn about their peri-operative course.
On Orthopaedics: I am a physician assistant employed as the hospitalist on the orthopaedic surgery service and take care of the general medical needs of orthopaedic patients. I also evaluate patients requiring inpatient or emergency room consults.
About Me: Over the years, I became more and more interested in hospitalist medicine as a subspecialty, and I evolved my duties and responsibilities to meet the growing need. My background in orthopaedic surgery is helpful in getting patients care as soon as possible.
Personal Information: I have two furry beasts (dog-children) who relocated with me to this beautiful area. We enjoy the weather, the beaches and the mountains. So far, everyone we’ve met has been very friendly and helpful.
