About Me and My Practice
On Patients
I feel privileged to care for a variety of individuals with significant health problems. The North Olympic Peninsula has a great group of patients – most of whom genuinely appreciate the care they receive. I am also fortunate to work at a first-class hospital with a top-notch support staff, including nurses and technicians.
On Internal Medicine
I participate in the full range of adult medical care as a hospitalist. A hospitalist is a physician who manages the care of patients while they are in the hospital. Additionally, as a provider of specialized cardiology care in the area of heart rhythm management, I surgically implant pacemakers and loop recorders, and currently monitor a group of more than 500 patients with these implanted devices.
About Your Provider
I split my time between a hospitalist practice and the Cardiac Rhythm Management Clinic in Port Angeles and Sequim. My goal is to provide the highest quality of care possible in a caring, compassionate manner.
Personal Information
I thoroughly enjoy living and working in Sequim and Port Angeles. My wife and three children are huge priorities for me, but I also somehow find time to windsurf and stand-up paddleboard.
Clinical Interests
I have broad interests in adult medicine, with special emphasis on cardiology – particularly pacemaker implantation and management of cardiac devices. This is an evolving field, which is intellectually challenging. I also have the genuine joy of seeing patients’ quality of life improve significantly when they receive appropriate device therapy.
