My career path from Medical Assistant to Nurse Practitioner gives me a unique view of the different levels of care, which I bring forward to my patients today. From patient interactions to patient advocacy, my journey facilitates quality patient-centered care.
What can patients expect from an appointment with you?
During an appointment with me, patients can expect to have my undivided attention, compassion, and respect.
What led you to your career?
A strong desire to help my community remain healthy and active.
What drew you to OMC and the Olympic Peninsula?
I discovered the Olympic Peninsula while on vacation more than a decade ago. I was captivated by the beauty and opportunity for year-round outdoor activities. My desire to be on the Olympic Peninsula led me to OMC. Working for a rural hospital system gave me the ability to really help my community.

The most rewarding part of working with patients is to help them understand what role they have in their recovery.
What do you find most interesting about orthopedics?
Surgery is just one of many different ways orthopedic providers are able to help patients.
How do you spend your free time?
I enjoy time with my husband, John, and our dog, Joss. I love to hike, read, cook, garden, paint, and sew. I also love to learn!
