About Me and My Practice
On Patients
I enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them understand the heart and the problems that are leading to symptoms. I develop a plan with the patient that is aimed at improving their health and well being.
On Cardiology
The field of cardiology and cardiology imaging has advanced so much since I was in medical school. We have many more options for diagnosis and treatment. Outcomes are improving as a result. This makes it a great specialty to practice.
About Me
I have lived in this community on and off since 1994; first as an internist and now as a cardiologist. It is exciting that we can live in such a beautiful place and still offer state-of-the-art care in cardiology consultation and imaging.
Personal Information
My family includes my husband, Mark, and two sons, born here and “nearly” grown. Our household includes two big dogs, chickens and thousands of honeybees. I love the outdoors, including camping and hiking. I also try to keep up my knitting skills when I have the time. My family and I love it here and look forward to staying.
