About Me and My Practice
On Patients
When working with patients, I strive to ensure that we have exhausted all conservative measures prior to considering surgery as an option. If necessary, we can provide surgical solutions utilizing the latest techniques.
On Podiatry
Podiatry is a specialty devoted to the management of all disease and trauma of the foot and ankle. The practice interests me because restoration of function is the common denominator for all foot and ankle challenges. We must treat a problem, whether it be a simple skin infection to a tendon injury or arthritis, but also have a solution that a patient can walk on as well.
About Me
I suffered many Jones fractures (a break between the base and middle part of the fifth metatarsal of the foot) while competing in NCAA basketball at the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts. I underwent many surgical repairs and developed a close relationship and strong respect for the orthopaedic and podiatric surgeons involved in my care.
Personal Information
I enjoy writing, reading science fiction or historical fantasy, and I enjoy any activity or hobby that involves the ocean or beach.

Clinical Interests
My clinical interests include limb salvage and complex wound care, tendon and ligament repair of the foot and ankle, and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. My practice includes common pathology of the foot and ankle, from the simple (ingrown nails, bunions, hammertoes) to the complex (sport medicine injuries, reconstruction and trauma of the foot and ankle).
Special Procedures Performed
