About Me and My Practice
On Patients
Caring for patients is what drew me to medicine and will continue to be the driving force behind me. My philosophy is that we are part of a team and work together to individualize treatment plans that each patient is comfortable with.
On Gastroenterology
Gastroenterology gives me the opportunity to treat acutely ill patients who need life-saving procedures, care for patients with chronic diseases and help to prevent disease occurrence or progression.
Personal Information
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, going on hikes, kayaking, camping and recently I have become SCUBA certified and look forward to diving both locally and around the world.

Clinical Interests
While I enjoy treating all spectrums of gastrointestinal disorders, I have a particular interest in hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases as well as therapeutic endoscopy. I find it very rewarding to be able to endoscopically remove a large lesion that in the past would have required the patient to be taken to surgery.
Special Procedures Performed
Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF) for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)
Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography
