On Patients: My philosophy is to provide accurate information and support women’s choices without judgment, to trust the human body and interfere only when necessary.
On Midwifery: The practice of midwifery has been around for millennia, but again and again modern scientific research has supported our methods. Evidence shows that when you stand with a mother, empower her, provide sound information and give care that is based on honesty and respect, the rest follows: mothers and babies stay safe, and families start strong.
About Me: I want to make the world better. What more perfect place to start than at the beginning? It is a privilege and an honor to be invited to share in the most sacred and intimate moment of birth.
Personal Information: I am a wife, a mother of two small children and an artist. In my spare time, I paint crazy abstracts with acrylics and crochet fuzzy hats for my kids. I like dark chocolate, white wine and coffee. My ideal days are spent collecting agates and sea glass followed by a delicious, cheesy dinner cooked by someone else.
