About Me and My Practice
What led you to choose a career as an orthopaedic provider?
I enjoy helping to get people moving again and back to work and the activities they enjoy.
How do you feel your training, experience and expertise can serve your patients?
I am eager to use my knowledge and experience in orthopaedics to help the community. I hope to continue to learn more and gain experience in orthopaedics, in order to better serve the communities on the Peninsula.
What do you find most rewarding about working with patients?
I enjoy being able to make a difference in the lives of my patients. I enjoy being able to help patients better understand the way their body works and to understand what is causing their pain or problems, as well as what can be done to help.
What can patients expect from an appointment?
Patients will have my full focus, attention, and care during their visit. They will have the opportunity to fully voice their concerns, and I in turn will fully explain their diagnosis and all of the treatment options available. I will answer any questions they have, and if they think of a question later I can answer it as soon as possible.
What drew you to OMC and the Olympic Peninsula?
Coming from Nebraska, I wanted to live in a place with more exciting scenery and outdoor activities, as well as better weather. I came to OMC to do an interview, and I was impressed by the fact that every person I met that day was happy and cheerful, and seemed to truly enjoy being at work.
How do you enjoy spending your free time?
Reading, golfing, walking or running with my dog, watching Creighton basketball and traveling.
