About Me and My Practice
On Patients: My favorite part of pediatrics is the relationship with a child and their family. I can best care for patients when I understand them and where they come from.
On Pediatrics: I feel very privileged to be a part of a child’s growth and development. It is very rewarding to watch families and patients develop from infancy to young adulthood. I appreciate the chance to serve kids and their families when they are sick and celebrate milestones when they are well.
About Me: I practiced for five years in family medicine at a community health center then transitioned to pediatrics when I realized that my favorite part of every day was the little patients. I was part of a busy pediatric practice in Colorado Springs for four years before I moved to Port Angeles in 2013, where I am happy to be part of the great team at the Children’s Clinic.
Personal Information: I love Washington and enjoy being outside, even in the rain! My favorite times are spent with my husband and our girls and I look forward to being part of this community for a long time.
Clinical Interests
I enjoy all parts of pediatrics – from babies to teenagers. I think being a mom has made me a better practitioner and I enjoy learning from patients and families all the time.
