For the eighth year in a row, OMC has been recognized as a Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital by the Chartis Center for Rural Health.
The recognition honors outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX™, measuring and monitoring performance across a variety of areas impacting hospital operations and finance.
“Our entire organization and each of our dedicated staff continue to do the right thing for our patients, and this honor recognizes that commitment,” said Darryl Wolfe, CEO. “I’m proud to work with so many talented and committed individuals who all contributed to OMC earning this award for the eighth year in a row.”
OMC is the only Washington hospital to receive this particular recognition in 2023.
“Across the nation, top 100 rural providers continue to serve as a source of inspiration for hospital leadership teams and staff working diligently every day to improve the delivery of care within their local communities,” said Michael Topchik, National Leader, the Chartis Center for Rural Health.
