27 Jul Walk-In Clinics Manager Skillfully Leads Team During COVID-19 Response
PORT ANGELES (July 27, 2020) – Olympic Medical Center’s Interim Chief Executive Officer Darryl Wolfe presented a leadership award to Aleisha Autrey, walk-in clinics manager, at a virtual department leadership meeting on July 21. Josh Jones, MD, chief physician officer of Olympic Medical Physicians, as well as OMP operations leadership, nominated Autrey for the recognition.
According to Wolfe, “Aleisha skillfully manages staffing and processes during an increased community demand for same-day services while navigating the complexities of coordinating patient care with the emergency department and primary care providers.”
“Despite the challenges her team has faced, under Aleisha’s calm and positive guidance, they operationalized a COVID-19 response that is unprecedented,” added Wolfe.
Autrey joined Olympic Medical in 2014 as a medical office assistant. Since then, she has assumed various supervisory roles, most recently being promoted to walk-in clinic manager in February 2020.
