20 Sep Olympic Medical Physicians Children’s Clinic Welcomes Pediatrician Dr. Joshua Frankland
Dr. Frankland brings a passion for pediatrics to the Port Angeles and Sequim children’s clinics.
Joshua Frankland, MD, recently joined the team of providers at Olympic Medical Physicians Children’s Clinic. His focus is on caring for young people, aged birth to 18, at the clinics in both Port Angeles and Sequim.
“I have always loved working with children and adolescents,” said Dr. Frankland. “The ability to care for children from the moment they are born until they graduate high school is incredibly rewarding.”
Dr. Frankland received his medical training exclusively in the Pacific Northwest. He graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science in 2009 before spending three years as a behavioral specialist in in-patient psychiatry at Seattle Children’s. From there, Dr. Frankland started his medical training at University of Washington School of Medicine, where he graduated in 2018, and then he began his residency in pediatrics at Seattle Children’s.
Dr. Frankland enjoys spending his free time exploring nature with his young family. Together, they like hiking, swimming, gardening and skiing. “We also enjoy cooking, baking, eating good food and connecting with the amazing farming community on the Olympic Peninsula,” said Dr. Frankland.
Dr. Frankland brings a passion for pediatrics to the well-loved OMP Children’s Clinic team. “The infectious joy and resilience of children made pediatrics the only choice for me,” said Dr. Frankland. “Parents can expect their child to be the center of the visit, for me to engage them in their healthcare and to do my best to make the visit a positive experience.”
