Dr. Miller Brings Experienced Family Medicine Care to the Port Angeles Primary Care Clinic

Olympic Medical Center welcomes John Miller, MD, to the Olympic Medical Physicians primary care team. Dr. Miller joins OMP after leading his own private family medicine practice in Mississippi, and he will see patients out of the OMP Primary Care Clinic in Port Angeles.

“I enjoy treating patients of all ages and backgrounds who are dealing with a scope of health conditions,” said Dr. Miller. “I like being a primary care physician because it allows me to look after my patients at all points in the healthcare process, even when they are being seen by other specialists.”

Dr. Miller received his undergraduate degree from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi before pursuing a law degree at Duke University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina. After earning his Juris Doctor and practicing and teaching law, Dr. Miller returned to Mississippi to attend the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. After completing a three-year residency in Family Medicine, he opened his family medicine practice before deciding to make a move to the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Miller moved to Port Angeles with his family because “it is one of the most beautiful towns I’ve ever visited,” he said, “and the longer I live here the more I see that the people here are some of the best people anywhere.”

Dr. Miller looks forward to treating families here on the Peninsula, saying, “There is no greater privilege than being able to take care of a person’s health. In the same way, it is an honor to be able to make the community I live in a little healthier, too.”

Dr. Miller joins a team of primary care providers bringing care to patients on the Peninsula.  Olympic Medical Physicians Primary Care Clinics is open to new patients.  For more information on availability, services and hours, visit www.olympicmedical.org/services/family-medicine/ or call (360) 565-0999.
