Nine Olympic Medical Staff Honored

PORT ANGELES – Olympic Medical Physicians Chief Physician Officer Joshua Jones, MD, honored nine staff members at a recent Board of Commissioners meeting. 

"These employees consistently go the extra mile to help with a variety of process improvement projects and enthusiastically mentor coworkers,” said Jones.

Saavik Cameron, call center agent, fosters a positive culture while moving through the process of change.

Stepping into a lead role, Michael Santoyo, call center agent/central access lead, helped transform call center operations resulting in improved staffing and call levels.

Justine Hanson, central registration representative, looks for opportunities to improve efficiencies.

Janessa Fodge, central registration representative, thoroughly reviews authorizations and referrals for upcoming patient procedures to optimize provider schedules.

Central registration representatives Dawn O’Neill and Denise Helms have taken on additional responsibilities in training and onboarding new employees. 

A reliable and diligent member of the urology team, Lindsay Hopper, certified medical assistant, has become a valuable mentor for many medical assistant apprentices and has helped establish training guides and clinic standards.

Samantha Nolan, registered medical assistant, helps other medical assistants in the OMP Orthopaedic Clinic while truly encompassing The OMC Way with her patients and coworkers.

According to Dr. Jones, "Central Access Manager Jessica Bustillos leads by excellent example, and makes sure her staff have the tools, skills, and abilities to serve our patients.”
