02 Apr Annie Mullin Joins Orthopedic Team at OMP
Annie Mullin, PA-C, expands orthopedic care to patients of the Olympic Medical Physicians Orthopedic Clinics.
Olympic Medical Center welcomes Annie Mullin, certified physician assistant, to the orthopedic team. Mullin joins Olympic Medical Physicians after practicing family medicine at Catholic Health Initiatives Clinic in Omaha, Nebraska, and she will see patients at the OMP Orthopedic Clinics in Port Angeles and Sequim.
“Annie enjoys helping patients get moving again and back to the work and activities they love,” said Malina Grall, OMP Orthopedic Clinic manager. “We are thrilled to have her on our team.”
“I enjoy making a difference in my patients’ lives,” said Mullin. “I strive to help my patients better understand the way their body works and what is causing their pain or problems. I want to help get people moving again and back to the activities they enjoy.”
Coming from Nebraska, Mullin received her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from University of Nebraska-Lincoln before earning a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the Union College Physician Assistant Program in Lincoln. After finishing the physician assistant program, Mullin worked for five years in family medicine. She moved to the Olympic Peninsula not only to enjoy the scenery and outdoor activities, but because she was “impressed that every person I met during my interview was happy, cheerful and truly enjoyed being at work.”
As a provider, Mullin hopes to create an open and communicative relationship with her patients where she can give them her full focus, attention and care during their visit. “I want my patients to have the opportunity to fully voice their concerns, and, in turn, I will fully explain their diagnosis and treatment options and answer any questions they have.”
Mullin will provide physician support to orthopedic knee replacement surgeons Dr. Dirk Gouge and Dr. Thomas Herschmiller at OMP, as well as to the rest of the orthopedic team. She treats fractures, dislocations, joint problems and orthopedic emergencies.
Mullin sees patients at the OMP Orthopedic Clinics in Sequim and Port Angeles. For more information about orthopedics at OMC, visit olympicmedical.org/orthopaedics.
