Quality, Safety & Experience

Doing the Right Thing for our Patients

Olympic Medical Center leads as a health care provider by adopting, meeting and exceeding national standards for superior, evidence-based quality care, safety and experience. We strive to be a leader in national quality, safety and experience initiatives and promote a culture of safety and service that consistently meets the expectations and fulfills the needs of our patients, their families and our community in all the services we offer.

We find significant value in participating in national and state quality, safety and experience measures. Transparency is important in ensuring we are always working toward adopting evidence-based and promising practices as they come to light, and we are constantly improving. Many measures and programs are publicly available:

Your Experience Matters

Olympic Medical Center is working hard to enhance the patient experience by strengthening employee-patient communication and courtesy, decreasing wait times, implementing Age-Friendly Care and improving comfort to provide the best possible, patient-centered care experience across the hospital, home health and clinics.

Our patient experience team works behind the scenes with leaders and staff to help Olympic Medical Center meet – and often exceed – the expectations of our patients during a visit to the hospital, a clinic or other department.

They are also advocates, and welcome patients and family members to reach out to them if something goes exceptionally well or not so great.
