Support, Education and Nursing Care for New Families
From childbirth to parenting classes and focus groups, in-home and clinic consultations, we offer families the opportunity to create and maintain the healthiest environment possible for their new babies. Our programs include childbirth preparation classes, postpartum home visiting, breastfeeding consultation and drop-in support groups.

Postpartum, Home Visiting and Lactation Services
Our staff includes registered nurses and lactation (breastfeeding) specialists, who are available to provide in-home and hospital outpatient services by appointment. A postpartum home or clinic follow-up visit will be offered to all new families and can be scheduled during your hospital stay. Please call us for help with postpartum questions, or concerns you may have about feeding your baby. Most, but not all, services are covered by insurance and medical coupons.

You and Your New Baby Group Meetings
Designed for parents and babies experiencing the first few days, weeks and year of becoming a family, each group focuses on newborn behavior, care, and feeding. The transition into parenting along with the physical and emotional issues of postpartum are discussed. Emphasis is given to babies younger than 3 months of age. This is a fun time to measure and weigh your baby. Bring your baby up to one year old and have dinner with us.

Located at 939 Caroline Street, Port Angeles. For further information, please call New Family Services at (360) 417-7652. To visit our online nursery, please click here.
