Ultrasound
Ultrasound, which uses sound waves to produce medical images, is another extremely valuable tool physicians use for evaluation and diagnosis. Olympic Medical Center is equipped with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment that is equivalent to or better than that found in many large, urban hospitals.

All of our radiologists and sonographers are highly trained and certified or registered in several specialty fields. We perform various types of ultrasound exams, from obstetrics/gynecology to abdominal, breast and thyroid. Our vascular studies include carotid, venous and arterial Doppler. Our ultrasound department is equipped to perform biopsies of liver, breast and thyroid as well as other diagnostic procedures.
