Olympic Medical Center welcomes Patti Green as the new patient relations coordinator. As the patient relations coordinator, Green will oversee patient satisfaction initiatives, and work with patients and families to resolve complaints and grievances.
“Patti brings experience and sincere compassion to the role of patient relations coordinator,” says Donna Davison, administrative director of risk management. “Staff, patients and families will appreciate the positive impact she will have on our efforts to continuously provide excellent service.”
Prior to her position as the patient relations coordinator, Green worked for the Washington State Department of Developmental Disabilities for 14 years as an institutional counselor and respite coordinator. During her tenure there, she was responsible for staff training and organizing patient service needs with staff and families. Green also worked to develop programs to ensure patient and family satisfaction. Most recently, she worked four years with Olympic Medical Home Health as office supervisor.
“Leaving home health was a difficult decision, because they are such an amazing group, but I missed having the opportunity to connect directly with those we serve,” says Green. “I am very excited that my new role will allow me to work closely with patients, their families and Olympic Medical Center staff to achieve OMC’s mission of service excellence.”
