Loren Larson, MD, orthopaedic surgeon for Olympic Medical Physicians Orthopaedic Clinic, recently passed his board exam through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
“Board certification requires a high level of knowledge and experience in the specialty, and should be considered a fine achievement for members of our medical staff,” says Scott Kennedy, MD, chief medical officer, Olympic Medical Center. “Dr. Larson is a skilled surgeon and we are fortunate to have him in our community.”
Dr. Larson, a 1993 Port Angeles High School graduate, joined Olympic Medical Physicians in the fall of 2007 after completing his fellowship with the Santa Monica Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Group in California. Dr. Larson attended medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University and performed his residency at the University of New Mexico Sciences Center. He shares the OMP Orthopaedic Clinic with fellow orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Dirk Gouge and certified physician assistants Kay O’Neill and Danielle Bullard.
