Brenda Tassie of Port Angeles has been promoted to the position of manager of nursing supervision and social services.
“Brenda has done an excellent job the past two years in her role as a supervisor of the nurse staffing office and social services departments. I am confident her strong work habits will carry over into the managerial role.” says Lorraine Wall, chief nursing officer, Olympic Medical.
Tassie has been employed at Olympic Medical Center for the past 20 years in a variety of positions. In addition to her promotion to manager, she has also been given the added responsibility of managing the house supervisor group, who handle the staffing, admissions and overall administrative responsibilities during night and weekend shifts. In total, Tassie is responsible for 19 employees.
