PORT ANGELES – Andrew Rowe recently joined Olympic Medical Center as respiratory care manager.
As manager, Rowe – a registered respiratory therapist – will lead the respiratory therapy department. He has more than 10 years of acute-care clinical experience in respiratory therapy, including five years in management. Rowe also has experience as a community educator in tobacco cessation and eight years’ experience as an emergency medical technician and firefighter. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Boise State University and is currently working to obtain a Master of Arts in Healthcare Administration and Organizational Development from Colorado State University.
Rowe’s special areas of interest include quality improvement, patient safety and advocacy, public health and pulmonary rehabilitation.

Rowe comes to the community from Skagit Regional Health where he served as interim director of pulmonary services, and looks forward to getting involved in the local community. He is also an amateur photographer who loves to spend time outdoors with his wife and dog.
