People with neurological disorders no longer need to travel to Bremerton or Seattle to see an expert neurologist.
Starting this month, Neurologist Stafford Conway, MD, is now seeing patients at Olympic Medical Physicians Specialty Clinic in Sequim. Dr. Conway is a member of Olympic Medical Center’s medical staff, and is a Swedish Neuroscience Institute provider.
“To have a neurologist in our rural community with the backing and sub-expertise of the Swedish Neuroscience Institute is a really big deal,” says Pulmonologist Rebecca Corley, MD, Chief Physician Officer, Olympic Medical Physicians. “Patients with migraines, or neurological disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson’s Disease, are particularly ill affected by traveling long distances to receive care. Olympic Medical’s goal of having a local neurologist fulfills the community’s needs and provides excellent patient care.”
Dr. Conway is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. He most recently comes from Texas where he was an attending neurologist at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. He has been deeply involved in the field of neurology throughout his career as a practicing physician, published researcher, ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Neuroimaging editorial board and associate clinical professor.
Olympic Medical Center (Clallam County Public Hospital District No. 2) is a comprehensive, award-winning health care provider for more than 70,000 residents of Clallam County.
