July 27, 2018 -
Ken Berkes, previous director, steps over to solely direct physical therapy and rehabilitation services

SEQUIM – Dean Putt recently joined Olympic Medical Cancer Center as director of the cancer program. Putt has worked in health care for 40 years, 24 of that in cancer care administration.

"Dean really stood out as a good fit for Olympic Medical Cancer Center and he brings significant knowledge and expertise in cancer programs to his role,” says Josh Jones, MD, chief physician officer, Olympic Medical Physicians and chief administrator over the cancer center.

Putt most recently worked in Grand Junction, Colorado, as a cancer center director. He has worked to build a cancer program and new facility in Yuma, Arizona, start up a medical oncology practice for Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and began his career as a cancer care administrator at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.

Putt began working for Olympic Medical Cancer Center nearly a month ago and has enjoyed living in the Pacific Northwest. "My wife and I love to hike, we are adventurous and enjoy the outdoors, so we were excited for the opportunity to work in such a great place.”
