Olympic Medical Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation welcomes four new physical therapists: Shauna Keeley, Lucas Bopp, Sheri Prom and Caitlin Schmidt. Keeley practices at the Port Angeles facility at 321 N. Chambers St. and Bopp, Prom and Schmidt practice at the Sequim facility at 800 N. 5th Ave.
Caitlin Schmidt
Schmidt obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn. She received her bachelor’s degree in health science from St. Scholastica in 2009. At her new position in Sequim, Schmidt evaluates and treats patients with musculoskeletal impairments in an effort to return her patients to performing activities needed for work, home and hobbies.
“I applied for the job and moved halfway across the country because I fell in love with the area; everyone has been so welcoming!” says Schmidt. “I hope to gain experience from working with such talented therapists and am looking forward to finding my niche in this community.”
Shauna Keeley
Keeley graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2011 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Prior to moving to Port Angeles, Keeley completed physical therapy internships at Bellingham Physical Therapy, Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, West Allis Medical Center in West Allis, Wis., and Wheaton Franciscan Medical Center in Milwaukee. In her new position, Keeley works in the outpatient clinic in Port Angeles and with inpatients at the hospital. “I am very excited for the opportunity to work with physical therapy outpatients and inpatients in Port Angeles,” says Keeley. “I’m also really looking forward to experiencing all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.”
Lucas Bopp
Bopp graduated in 2011 from the University of North Dakota with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Bopp will work in the Sequim Clinic and is excited to start his career with Olympic Medical. “I was born and raised in North Dakota and I am very happy to be starting my career in a location as beautiful as the Olympic Peninsula,” says Bopp. “With the experienced staff at OMC, this is a perfect place for me to continue to advance my clinical skills.”
Sheri Prom
Prom graduated in 2011 from the College of St. Scholastica with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She will perform outpatient services in the Sequim physical therapy department. “I’m excited to work with OMC’s extended family of specialists,” says Prom. “The experience they have to offer will help me build my skills as a professional.”
