Important Information About Measles

  • If you were born before 1957, and you are not a health care worker, there is no action that needs to happen.

  • If you were born after 1957 and have written documentation that you have had two doses of MMR (Measles/Mumps/Rubella) or had the measles and have labs that show you have immunity, there is no action that needs to happen.

  • If you have a fever, runny nose, reddened eyes and a rash, please call and discuss these symptoms with a nurse before coming to the OMP Primary Care Clinic. It is important that you do not come to your primary care provider, an urgent care clinic or emergency department without calling first. If you need immediate care for potential measles, please call the hospital emergency department at (360) 417-7381. To avoid spreading measles to others it is important that you do not come to your primary care provider, urgent care clinic or emergency department without calling first
