Olympic Medical Center welcomes Malia Delohery‐Dart, who has recently joined Olympic Medical Cancer Center as the new patient navigator. Delohery‐Dart will serve as an advocate for cancer patients throughout their medical treatment.
"I am very excited for Malia to join our staff at the cancer center," says Tara Lock, director of the cancer center. "Her extensive background of working with people in crisis will be a strong contribution to our already outstanding family of employees who provide exceptional care for our patients."
Delohery‐Dart has spent the past 15 years working in the field of mental health. She comes from rural Oregon, where she worked for 10 years.
Delohery‐Dart looks forward to working with the team at Sequim's state‐of‐the‐art Thomas Family Cancer Center. "I have been impressed by the degree of caring professionalism I have observed in my fellow employees here," she says. "They go above and beyond for every patient, every day. I intend to offer the same level of service."
