Mary Douglas, occupational therapist with Olympic Medical Center Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in Sequim, recently earned her credentials as a certified hand therapist. She is also certified in sensory integration and neurodevelopmental treatment.
Douglas has focused on upper extremity (hands, arms and shoulders) orthopedic rehabilitation for the past 10 years and specializes in hand therapy. “I enjoy working with patients to restore normal functional activity, help them return to work after an injury and enhance their ability to participate in daily activities,” says Douglas.
A licensed occupational therapist for 30 years, Douglas has worked with Olympic Medical since August of 2007.

Douglas accepts physician-based referrals for any orthopedic upper extremity condition, including cumulative trauma and repetitive stress injuries, fractures of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, tendon injuries, amputations, trigger finger, carpal tunnel, arthritis and more. She is also skilled in custom fabricating splints for any upper extremity disorder.
