OMC Representatives Honored in Sequim

SEQUIM – Olympic Medical Center Chief Medical Officer Scott Kennedy, MD, presented recognition awards to Olympic Medical employees Suzette Paris, imaging services representative, Pamela Cadden, lead lab assistant, Lydia Rodgers, physical therapist, and Sheryl Greer, tumor registrar, at a June board of commissioners meeting in Sequim. 

In addition to registering more than 40 patients a day at Olympic Medical’s Imaging Center in Sequim, Paris was instrumental in developing the registration process for pulmonary function testing.

Cadden was honored for her good judgement, calm, steady nerves, and marvelous sense of humor while working with patients and staff at OMC’s lab in Sequim.

Since joining Olympic Medical Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation’s Sequim office, Rodgers has assisted with many note-worthy projects. She updated educational materials for a balance program offered at OMC’s Wellness Services located at YMCA in Sequim. She is also working to implement functional reporting which will better help patients identify goals and improve outcomes.

As a tumor registrar, Greer compiles, reviews, abstracts, and codes detailed information regarding the diagnosis, staging, treatment and follow up, of cancer patients. She also identifies and coordinates pertinent cases for clinical review during at the Tumor Board, a multidisciplinary conference which meets regularly to determine the best course of treatment for cancer patients.  "Sheryl is one of the unsung heroes of OMC’s comprehensive cancer program,” said Kennedy.
