Works under the direction of Medical Oncologist in an outpatient practice.   Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care of medical oncology patients within the facility. Provides coordination of patient care.  Participates in patient and family teaching.  Maintains standards for professional nursing. Supports and promotes a positive image of professional nursing and the Olympic Medical Center.  Coordinates activities with the health care team caring for the patients within medical oncology and with outside medical providers.  Has contact with patients under a variety of circumstances.  Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.  May handle emergency or crises situations.




RN required; BSN or equivalent preferred.



Minimum of one year experience in an ambulatory medical clinic.  Medical oncology experience preferred.



Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.  BLS certified.
