JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the overall management of Olympic Medical Cancer Center (OMCC) including directing, coordinating, overseeing and controlling the operations.  Management includes development of budget, goals/objectives and policies/procedures; compliance with laws/standards/regulations and the ability to oversee quality management initiatives, information services, inventory control and human resource management. Responsible for establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with the medical staff and other OMC personnel, as well as outside agencies such as the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA). Responsible for the development of competent staff and for the delivery of quality services. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EQUIPMENT COMPETENCIES

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or training preferred.   Equivalency will be considered depending on scope and years of successful experience.

 

EXPERIENCE

·        Five years of progressive management responsibility that includes program development and administration. 

·        Proven management experience in hospital/health care environment. 

·        Five years clinical experience in an acute care or hospital outpatient setting.

·        Strong interest in meeting the oncology needs of our community

 

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS

·        Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
