The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) (Regular or Float) functions in an assistive role to the licensed nurse in the provision of patient care activities.  Performs activities as delegated and directed by the nurse.


Float CNAs will be assigned on a daily basis to the area of need as determined by the Staffing Office/House Supervisor. May work in ICU/Telemetry, Med/Surg/Peds or be utilized as a transporter in the absence of a Patient Care Aide (PCA).




High school diploma or GED.  Completion of State approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program.



Minimum one year experience in long-term or acute care setting preferred.



·        Current Washington State Nursing Assistant certification. 

·        Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
