Description:  

Provide nutrition care, counseling and education to patients.  Works with patients who are receiving treatment in multiple areas.  Provides in-patient care and may provide out-patient counseling at the medical center and its facilities and may participate in public speaking, seminars and group classes. Bachelor’s degree required.  Additional certifications such as Medical Nutrition Therapy or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) preferred.  Training in counseling, motivational interviewing, educational and/or public speaking desired.  One year recent experience in acute care and/or ambulatory setting.  Registered dietitian.  WA Certified Dietitian or eligible.  American Dietetic Assn member preferred.
