Our Providers

Our team-centered approach to cancer treatment allows our providers to bring together the necessary expertise to create a care plan specific to each patient. Our team includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pharmacists, oncology nurses, internal medicine specialists, medical physicists, dosimetrists abd radiation therapists, and we work closely with your surgeon and primary care provider.

Thomas Kummet, MD, MPH

Medical Oncologist
Medical School: University of Minnesota
Board Certification: Medical Oncology, Internal Medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine)
Professional Interests: I am very interested in finding ways to maximize the quality of life for my patients, and provide them with the ability to live their lives to the fullest despite their cancer. The care of cancer patients requires not only clinical expertise, but a thoughtful understanding of people.

Christopher Williams, MD

Medical Oncologist
Medical School: Ludwig Maximilians University Faculty of Medicine, Munich, Germany
Board Certification: Medical Oncology (American Board of Internal Medicine)
Professional Interests: Cancer diagnosis continues to be a devastating experience in many cases. However, scientific achievements of the last four decades are improving the prospect of individualized care and public measures of its prevention, thereby boosting the morale of caregivers and survivors.

Rena Zimmerman, MD

Radiation Oncologist
Medical School: Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine
Board Certification: Radiation Oncology (American Board of Radiology)
Professional Interests: I am particularly interested in the use of integrative modalities in the management of patients receiving radiation therapy.  I have a particular interest in the treatment of breast cancer. I believe my patients are best treated by offering state of the art radiation therapy combined with support of the mind, body and spirit.

Deborah Turner, PA-C

Physician Assistant
Medical School: Duke University of Medicine
Board Certification: Physician Assistant - Certified (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)
Professional Interests: I have practiced in the specialty of oncology since 1992. My experience includes care of patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, and I have worked in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. We have a full service cancer center that provides excellent care, and I am very proud to be a part of the care team.
