Quality Achievements
Olympic Medical Center is committed to quality
and excellence—receiving a perfect survey score by the Washington
State Department of Health in both 2001 and 2003, earning a 100 percent
score on its survey in 2002 by the Joint Commission on Accreditation
of Healthcare Organizations, the internationally recognized "gold
standard" of quality certification. In addition, Olympic Medical
Center was recently recognized for its outstanding commitment to quality
by being awarded the American Hospital Association’s 2003 Quest
for Quality citation of merit.
Olympic Medical Center touches the lives of Clallam
County residents in almost every facet of their health care—new
babies, broken bones, emergency medical services, cardiac care, surgical
needs and cancer care, to name a few.
